Size Comparison — What Actually Fits

Pickup-load counts are estimates; always consider weight limits with dense materials.

Size Best For Approx. Pickup Loads* Notes
7-Yard Concrete, dirt, sod, gravel, asphalt; tight driveways ~3 Heavy debris safe Low-profile trailer helps in narrow sites
15-Yard Home cleanouts, yard debris, small kitchen/bath projects ~6 Great all-around balance of footprint and capacity
20-Yard Multi-room cleanouts, light demo, many roofing tear-offs ~8–10 Confirm shingle weights for roofing projects

*Pickups vary by bed size/sideboards; counts shown are common ballparks.

Pro tip for dense debris: book the 7-yard for concrete, dirt, and sod. It keeps loads within safe transport limits and helps control cost.

How Pricing Works (Straightforward & Transparent)

  • Flat rental: includes a 4-day standard rental window.
  • Actual disposal: billed from certified scale tickets (many loads average ~ $0.08/lb; material type affects totals).
  • Driveway protection: boards on every placement—no extra line item.
  • Extensions: need more time? Easy to add extra days.
Sample scenarios (for planning only)

Yard cleanup: 15-yard with mixed green waste + light junk often weighs less than renovation debris.

Bathroom remodel: 15-yard fits most; if you’re breaking tile/concrete, consider a 7-yard due to weight.

Patio demo (concrete): use 7-yard and plan for dense weight; splitting into multiple hauls may be safest.

Mini Weight Estimator (Rough Planning)

Choose a material and enter volume in cubic yards (yd³). Results are rough planning numbers—actual disposal is based on certified scale tickets.

These are estimates only; debris moisture and mix can change weights significantly. We’ll advise safe loading and best sizing.

How It Works

  1. Tell us your project & timing. Address, debris type, access notes.
  2. We right-size the dumpster. 7/15/20-yard matched to debris and driveway.
  3. Delivery with care. Protective boards on every placement.
  4. Load & haul. Keep below the fill line; we pick up on schedule and handle disposal.

FAQs

Can I move the dumpster after it’s placed?

Please don’t move it. Call us if the spot needs to change—we’ll reposition safely.

Do you prorate if I finish early?

Finishing early helps scheduling; we’ll do our best to accommodate early pickup. Rental terms remain the same unless arranged in advance.

What about steep or narrow driveways?

We handle tight and sloped sites daily. Share photos or notes—our driver will plan the safest approach and staging.

Street placement or permits?

Driveway placements are simplest. For right-of-way (street/sidewalk), check local rules; permits may be required. We’re happy to advise what to ask your city.
