Born from the Demo Site.
PDX Dumpster wasn't started in a boardroom; it was started on the tight, hilly driveways of the Portland West Hills. As the team behind OJB Solutions, we spent years performing high-end residential demolition.
We saw firsthand the damage massive roll-off trucks caused to residential property. We knew Portlanders needed a better way to clear debris without risking their driveways. Today, we bring that "contractor-grade" precision to every rental.
The OJB Standard
We provide commercial capacity with residential care.
Residential Specialists
Our trailer-mounted bins are specifically selected to protect your driveway and curbside appeal.
Precision Placement
We use maneuverable pickup trucks to place bins exactly where you need them—even in tight Portland alleys.

We provide certified scale tickets with every haul so you know exactly what you’re paying for. No flat-fee guesswork.
Portland Project Playbook: Pro Tips
Get the most value from your rental with local advice on rain, access, and materials.
Tame the Weather
It’s Portland—rain happens. Cover your load with a tarp overnight to avoid paying for water weight. Keep drywall and cardboard off the bottom to prevent moisture wicking.
Tight Space Experts
Whether it's a West Hills slope or a narrow SE Portland alley, we use protective boards and trailer-style equipment to protect your pavers and curb appeal.
Sorted for Savings
Inert loads (clean concrete, dirt, or sod) in our 7-yard dumpster often see better rates. Avoid mixing in trash to keep your disposal costs as low as possible.
Smart Load Plan: Fit More, Pay Less
Maximizing your dumpster space isn't just about Tetris—it's about weight distribution and safety. Follow these four steps to avoid overage fees.
Stage First
Break down boxes and stack flat panels vertically.
Heavy Low
Load dense debris first and spread it evenly across the floor.
Clean Streams
No hazardous waste or liquids. One bad item can flag a whole load.
Mind the Line
Stay below the top rail. We cannot safely transport "top-heavy" loads.
Portland-Specific FAQ
Can you place in older Portland alleys or steep drives? +
Often, yes. Our trailer-style equipment is much more maneuverable than a 30-ton roll-off truck. Text us photos of the grade—we’ll confirm placement before we dispatch.
Do I need a permit for street placement? +
Requirements vary by jurisdiction. In many Portland residential zones, a Right-of-Way permit is required for curb placement. We recommend driveway placement whenever possible to save you time and fees.
How do you handle local recycling? +
We route materials to the appropriate regional transfer stations. Clean concrete, scrap metal, and yard debris are prioritized for recovery rather than the landfill.
